After John and Paul had met, they began writing many songs together. At this time however, there was no discussion of the group "The Beatles". They were still playing
a mixture of skiffle and some rock & roll. Many of the songs which were written and played around this time were never recorded, but the very first recording ever made of them was "That`ll Be The Day", a Buddy Holly song, and "In Spite Of All The Danger", one of Paul`s compositions.
A new member had now joined The Quarrymen - one of Paul`s friends from school, George Harrison.
